Mexican Dutch King
Mexican Dutch King mushroom typically features a distinctive appearance, with its cap measuring around 2 to 8 centimetres in diameter. The cap’s colouration tends to range from a pale, creamy brown to a slightly darker shade, with a conical or bell-shaped structure that eventually matures into a broadly convex shape. Often, the cap’s surface can be somewhat sticky when moist, and it may show signs of slight cracking as it matures.
The stem of the Mexican Dutch King mushroom is usually quite robust and can grow up to 15 centimetres in length. Its colour matches that of the cap, featuring a creamy hue with occasional light brown markings near the base. The stem also displays a characteristic fibrous texture, giving it a distinct appearance that sets it apart from other mushrooms in its family.
Mexican Dutch spores exhibit a dark purplish-brown to purplish-black colour.
